Here are the pictures that I said I would show you. The first grouping are from the flooded park.
Trees don’t actually grow under water very well.
When watering pine trees, this isn’t what they had in mind.
Really? Poor trees. Wonder if they have toes that are “pruned”. You know…like wrinkly from being in the water. Get it?
This sidewalk going under the bridge isn’t suppose to be under the water. It is a walking trail. I don’t think it’ll be used anytime soon.
This bridge just boggles my mind!
Poor poor bridge.
Onto Baird’s Creek. First up…a wooden bridge that was built over a swampy area.
Natural whirlpool. The water coming into this little inlet and going out again caused little tornadoes in the water.
Rushing water. This picture really doesn’t do the flow of how hard the water was moving justice.
Again…picture doesn’t really do it justice.
Alright, I like this picture. Such blue skies and the tallness of the trees. I just can’t help myself.
There you go folks. Spring is in the air. Hopefully it stays in the air now.
